Check engine light and battery light on after jump start
« on: August 14, 2021, 07:47:09 pm »
Hi all,

I have been having this issue lately when I went away for 6 months and my battery drained to 0.
Had my car jump started and ever since I am seeing the CEL and Battery light.
These only appear when key in first position.
See below the results of the OBD scanner.

I my battery seems to be fine, alternator also charging, checked the 200 AMP fuse all fine. Cleaned the connectors etc, done the usual troubleshooting.
The car is charging fine so I am not too sure what is going on. This does not even appear as a code yet I am seeing these codes when my key is in first position.

Any tips on how to get this cleared/ troubleshooted? Thanks!

I have to add that I thought maybe I have a drainage issue as I have changed front bulbs and interior ones as well, but from my results it seems that it has nothing to do with drainage (2.5-2.7 A while unlocked).
